Collection: Batik: Wiru Collection
Presenting our latest collection, Wiru. Translated from the Javanese word blue, wiru is also the practice of fan-folding the edge of a wrapped batik cloth, which is then centered at the front of the wearer.
Our newest pieces go back to nature, featuring scenes of stylized flora and fauna, in two colours that depict the duality of light and darkness. This collection aims to rediscover visual symbolism built on traditional Javanese motifs and instil noble values, prayer and affection to the wearer.
The beauty of each piece comes from the heart of the maker, their workmanship unparalleled to even the most advanced machine.
