Two different elements, the flower and parang motifs, are used to depict a dance in harmony to create this beautiful piece. The Javanese believe that their life must be in harmony and balance between microcosm and macrocosm, maintaining harmony with God, humans and the universe, through one’s behaviour and attitude.
As the saying goes “harmony brings prosperity, conflicts bring destruction.”
